The Redwood Area has 36 women's golf clubs and 4 nine-hole women’s golf clubs. We have 6 playdays held from April through October and on our final playday we announce the winner of our Medallion points. Our area Team Play is held in June and our Tournament of Champions in April. We rotate the courses we play in the Redwood Area, which starts from the Golden Gate Bridge and goes to Eureka - including some courses in the East Bay. The courses are a variety that will welcome beginning golfers to more advanced golfers and the Redwood Area golfing group is very easy to play with. We have individual play on the playdays and we have Team Play. Team Play is where the individual clubs send four golfers to play against the other clubs to accumulate points over the 6 playdays. Pacific Women’s Golf Association is delighted to welcome you to the Redwood area eClubhouse. As a member of PWGA you join over 9000 other women who share your passion and enthusiasm for the game of golf. The Redwood eClub is the latest effort on behalf of PWGA to enable women who have found it difficult to join traditional green grass club to find a club that suits their needs. This club is a fully functioning member club of PWGA and members are entitled to all the member benefits associated with membership. There are at least 5 Area Playdays offered for club members throughout the area. Members are also eligible to enter our 6 Major PWGA Tournaments and 40+ playdays in our other areas.
